December 16, 1933 – October 29, 2022
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Marilyn Yvonne Clysdale (nee Olver), with family by her side on Saturday October 29, 2022 at Fairhaven Long Term Care Home. Marilyn was predeceased by her loving husband Keith, parents Cora and Allan Olver, Edna Nicholson, sister Rita McDonald (Ed), brothers Dave Olver, Don Nicholson and son-in-law Gerald “Tub” Bell. Dear sister of Anna Myles (Neil), Carol Collins, and sister-in-law of Ona Clysdale (the late Don) and Gail Nicholson (the late Don). Predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law Ivan Clysdale (Florence) Lois Anderson (Peter), Doris Payne (Lloyd), Edna Clysdale and June Clysdale. Marilyn was a devoted and loving mother to Cheryl Bell (Barry) and Brenda Freeburn (Wayne). Dear grandmother to Stacey Johnson, Paula Graham (Jeff), Holly Florence (Graham) and Ryan Freeburn (Crystal). Cherished great grandmother to Brandon, Brodie (Maddy), Nolan Johnson, Austin Graham, Avery, Ryla, Mackenzie and Cooper Florence and Calli, Ella and Anden Freeburn. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Thursday November 3, 2022 from 6-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday November 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment St. Mark’s Cemetery, Warsaw. A reception will follow in the Warsaw Town Hall. The family wishes to thank the caring and kind staff of Westview 2 Fairhaven for looking after their mother and treating her as one of their own.
