Obituary of James Bonthron McCallum Smith

With sad hearts we wish to announce the passing of James (Jim) Smith, On November 14^th 2022 peacefully at Peterborough Regional health Centre after a short battle with cancer. Jim retired from Budd Automotive after 35 years. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion. As well an avid golfer and spent countless hours fishing from his boat on the Trent Severn Waterway from his retirement community of Lakefield. Jim was predeceased by his wife Isabel (nee Taylor). Jim is survived by his wife Sadie Baillie, son Jamie (Jody), daughter Jaclyn, and his brothers Ray (Therese) and Troy (Tammy). He was known to his six grandchildren Ashley, Madison, Jasper, Cody, Jace, and David and several great – grandchildren as “Grampa Jim”.  Cremation has taken place.
