Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Thursday December 1, 2022. Steph Doughty of Burleigh Falls in her 50thyear. Steph was a tireless community advocate who spearheaded the Burleigh Falls Beautification Project. The sunshine in many people’s lives, she will be remembered for her goofy and fun attitude and for always looking out for those in her life. Steph is loved and missed by her daughters Alexandra “Allie” Doughty-Cruise (Seb) of Peterborough, Sharon “Suzie” Myers (Mac) of Mississauga, Jammie Merrin (Brett) of Buckhorn and Tayler Doughty-Cruise (Blake) of Whitby. Dear Koo of Winter, Michel, Ocean, Aubree, Brayden, Spencer, Elizabeth, Holden, Preston and Nelson. Lovingly remembered by her mother Sharon Stevens of Burleigh Falls, sisters Rebecca Hay (Jamie) of Victoria, B.C., Shelley Knott (Gaylord) of Lakefield, Samantha Harvey (Paul) of Burleigh Falls, brother Joey Stevens (Alex) of Lindsay and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Art and her beloved grandson Greyson. Also missed by her dogs Milo and Missy. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Steph’s Life will be held at the Curve Lake Community Centre on Sunday December 18, 2022 from 12:00 – 4:00 PM.
