Passed away at Riverview Manor Nursing Home, Peterborough, on Wednesday January 11, 2023.  Dorothy Bourne of Lakefield in her 104^th year.  Loved and missed by her children Linda (the late Jack), Susan (Kim), Jim (Diane) and Frank.  Also missed by her grandchildren Carol (Mark), Laura (Steve), Jason (Tanya), Kristin (Steve), four great grandchildren Emily, Erin, Gage, Rylee and three great great grandchildren Brooke, Blair and Roman.  Lovingly remembered by her step children Steve (Ali) and Don (Kristine).  Predeceased by her first husband James (2000) and her second husband Doug (2005).  A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Monday January 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM.  Visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment Lakefield Cemetery.  A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.  If unable to attend, you may watch the funeral service by visiting the memorial page for Dorothy at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com.  Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
