HALSTED: Jean Evelyn (nee Miller)

Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday April 1, 2023 with family by her side.  Jean Halsted of Peterborough, formerly of Stouffville in her 92^nd year.  Jean (aka Weiner) was a teller with the CIBC Bank in Stouffville for many years and as an avid knitter, she will be remembered by many for producing dozens of sweaters, mittens and her renowned “Nan Socks”.  Loving wife of the late Maurice Leonard “Mo” Halsted (d. 1991).  Dear mother of Maurice Halsted (Jane) of Edmonton, Valerie McGriskin (David) of Douro and Stephen Halsted of Keswick.  Cherished Nan of Jade, Nolan (Allyssa), Jylee, Jennifer (Jason), Melinda, Eric (Cherelyn), John (Stacy), Meredith, Steve (Meriah), and Great GrandNan of Charlotte, Leah, Sam, Savannah, Lucas, Jack, Everett, Hayden, Julius, Penelope Fawna and Brexley.
