BROWN: Collin Charles

Passed away suddenly on Wednesday April 5, 2023.  Collin Brown of Toronto, formerly of Warsaw and Lakefield in his 40^th year.  Collin was raised in Warsaw and Lakefield and graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough before moving to Western Canada to work in the Oil Fields for many years. Upon his return he settled in Toronto and recently was employed with the City of Toronto.  Collin loved science fiction and spent many hours playing War Hammer or D&D and watching his favourite show, The Office.  He will be remembered as a loving father to his two boys. Collin is loved and missed by his wife Krista Prendergast of Toronto and his sons Seamus and Gus Brown.  Also missed by his parents Bruce & Jill Brown of Lakefield and mother-in-law Gerry Prendergast of Toronto.  Loving brother of Lindsay Brown (Jeff Bird) of Markham and Allison Brown (David Kervin) of Peterborough.  Dear uncle to Harper, Emmett, Landris and Josh.  Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins.  A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Friday April 21, 2023 at 12:30 PM, followed by a Celebration of Collin’s Life from 1:30-3:30 PM in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Silver Creek Pre School as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
