FLEGUEL: Caroline Anne

Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle, at the P.R.H.C., on Monday April 24, 2023.  Caroline Fleguel of Lakefield in her 71^st year.  In 1991, Jack and Caroline founded their family business, J.B. Fleguel Ontario Land Surveyor in Lakefield.  Together with Jack, Caroline and their boys worked to grow the business until Jack’s death in 2011.  Caroline continued to work at the business until recently.  Over the past number of years, she enjoyed her travel throughout the world and was thrilled that she was able to bring her grandchildren along on many of her journeys.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband John Beverly “Jack” Fleguel (d. 2011).  Lovingly remembered by her sons Robin (Anna) of Orillia and Jeremy (Aricka) of Lakefield.  Dear Nana of Patrick, Isabela, Benjamin and William.  Survived by her sisters Jennifer Chapin of Victoria, B.C., Susan Monahan (Laird) of Kingston, brother Paul Chapin of Calgary and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Cremation has taken place.  Memorial donations may be made to Myeloma Canada or Hospice Peterborough as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
