JEWELL: Laurel Denise (nee Davy)

Passed away after complications from surgery at Science North Hospital, Sudbury with family by her side, on Monday May 29, 2023.  Laurel Jewell of Elk Lake, formerly of Kawartha Lakes in her 68^th year.  Laurel will be remembered fondly by her many hairdressing clients in Lindsay and the surrounding area.  Loved and missed by her husband Brian Jewell of Elk Lake and her children Dale Mann of Elk Lake, Michael Cooper (Nikole) of Saskatchewan and Nicole Hickey (Matthew) of Peterborough.  Dear step mother of Amy Davidson (Jeff) of Manilla, Corey Jewell of Kenabeek and Randi Woods of Lindsay.  Loving grandma of Sophia, Jett and Brielle and step grandma of Gavin, Riley, Aiden, Alex, Rain, Ash and Declan.  Also lovingly remembered by her sisters Susan Maindonald (the late Don), Patricia Christie (Gord), Carol Jackson (Glenn) and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Tom and Jean and brother Christopher.  A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon, on Tuesday June 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM.  Visitation will commence at 11:30 AM.  Cremation to follow.  A reception will be held following the service at the R.C.L.
