Brewer, Peter “Pete”
Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on August 4th, 2023. Devoted Husband to Carol and dear father to Robert and Claire and grandad “Grandi” to grandson Dylan (Autumn) and great granddaughter Gemma. Peter will be deeply missed by his siblings Joe (Ann), and Eileen Banks (Hadge) in England, and Kath Shaw in Australia, and by all extended family. He is predeceased by his first wife Denise. Peter was an active member of the Knights of Columbus since 1976 and Grand Knight in Lakefield Council #11924 for 11 years. He enjoyed watching, and in his younger years, playing soccer, and held many positions through the years with children’s soccer associations. Peter enjoyed boating, stain glass, reading, crosswords and travelling. A spiritual man, Peter was a long-time member of St. Paul the Apostle church and made his ministry in helping others.
Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. A visitation will be held on Tuesday August 15th from 6:00PM till 9:00PM at the Hendren Funeral Home in Lakefield with Prayers beginning at 7:00PM. A service will take place on August 16th at St. Paul the Apostle in Lakefield at 11:00AM. A private interment is to follow. All attending are invited for a time of fellowship and refreshment at the church.
