BUSH: Ashley

Passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle, with family by her side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday August 11, 2023 at the age of 37. Beloved daughter to Donna (Bell) and Harold Bush. Dear sister to Jason (Amanda) Bush. Favourite niece to her beloved aunt Margie. Ashley will be deeply missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and only nephew Bentley “Ben”. Ashley couldn’t wait to see and spend time with Ben when she could and she was very excited to meet her new niece on the way as well.

Ashley had a very big heart; she cared a lot for the homeless with her cousin Narlan. She also loved all animals especially dogs. Ashley loved to shop, never stopped buying but she was a smart shopper, always looking for deals. She loved food and liked to try different spices when preparing meals. She also loved get togethers; especially being in her family’s company. Some of her favourite hobbies were crafts and traveling

A Graveside service will be held at Lakefield Cemetery (1262 Buckhorn Road, Lakefield) on Monday August 21, 2023 at 12:00 PM. All are invited to then celebrate Ashley at the R.C.L., Br. 77, Lakefield from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lakefield Animal Welfare Society.
