Buchanan, Donald ‘Roy’
In his 82 nd year, passed away at The Bridge Hospice on October 12 th , 2023, surrounded by love. Cherished and proud father of Jeffrey (Penny) Buchanan, Janice (Brock) Greenhalgh, Angela (Peter) Lee, Melanie (Mark) Cannons and Scott (Melissa) Buchanan. Even prouder Grandpa to Natalie (Jon) and Hudson Buchanan, Aiden and Bryn Greenhalgh, Ben and Kate Lee, Mitchell and Nathan Cannons, Hunter and Briar Buchanan. Survived by siblings Phyllis Munro, Patsy (Bernie) Casey, Debbie (Gordon) Fox and Nancy Buchanan. Predeceased by brothers Alex (Phyllis) Buchanan and Bob Buchanan. Fondly remembered by many special nieces, nephews and caring friends. Roy’s soft spoken, gentle manner and kind heart will be missed. Special acknowledgement and thanks are extended to Peterborough County City Paramedics, Campbellford Memorial Hospital Dr.’s & Staff and The Bridge Hospice for the professional, compassionate care you gave to support Dad and his family. Cremation has taken place. A private family internment will take place at English Line Cemetery.
