Mabel Bernice (Taylor) Junkin, March 7, 1932 – November 1, 2023

 

Passed away peacefully at Case Manor on November 1st in her 92nd year, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Lloyd Junkin (2017). Loving mother of Karen Junkin (Steve Oliver), Murry Junkin (Grace), and Marylynn Lindsay (Dave) all of Bobcaygeon. Grandmother of Andrew (Stephanie), Katelyn (Curtis), Brittany (Todd), Kenton (Cassie), Michael (Lisha), Emily, Kathryn (Jesse). Great grandmother of Ella and Jordan. Step-great grandmother of Abby. Predeceased by her parents Emory and Mabel Taylor, siblings Bessie Sheehey, Jack Taylor, Zelma Pogue. Also remembered by extended family and friends. Bernice was raised on a farm at Kenstone Beach. Together with her late husband Lloyd, they ran a successful farming enterprise north of Bobcaygeon and raised a family she was very proud of. She enjoyed getting together with family and friends and especially grandchildren to play cards, games and bake. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, family history and sitting at the locks with a cup of coffee and watching the boats.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – MONK CHAPEL. A private family interment is to take place. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life that will be held at The Hendren Funeral Home – Monk Chapel on November 9th 2023 from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM.
