Way back when Pat was boarding the bus, just down the road from the Ross estate to the savvy conversations with Keith & Murray at the farm, to having the privilege to have Steve work with us at the Norwood Co-op, great genes. Another strong community farm member now telling stories with a wry smile to all who will listen in heaven. wonderful to hear of international success at the World Dairy Expo in Madison WI, to racing at the dirt track around the Norwood Fair, you will be missed Murray. sincerely, Murray & Beth Lobb and family.

Maureen and I offer our sincere condolences to Pat and family at this difficult time. While I didn't know Murray all that long, I appreciated his help and friendship when I first joined the ANMAFB team back in April, 2020, where Murray's sense of humour wasn't masked by any mask! I also enjoyed our "friendly" remarks back and forth re: the Wings and the Leafs.

We were so sorry to hear of Murray's passing this week. My family showed chickens at the Norwood Fair for many years and often met Murray at the spring and fall sales. My dad, Alex Wright, and Murray would have a good chin wag every time they met and Murray always had a friendly word for our son Chris and nephew Alex as they grew to love raising and showing fancy birds.

They say that a man's greatest pride is in his dignity and no calling bestows this more abundantly than farming. Our Murray was a farmer. He loved the sight of his land greening, the crops in the field, horses playing, calves and lambs growing and chicks hatching. Always a man who gave more than he took. A man known for his gentleness and what he has done for his fellow man. In all that knew him he imparted his admirable values. Yes, that is the essence of our Murray. Rest in Peace, always Loved
