Athabelle, Malcolm and Linda, we were saddened by the news of Ray’s passing. Ray was quite the character and we always enjoyed sharing stories on Malcolm and Linda’s front porch when you visited in Waterloo. Ray especially liked to reminisce about some of his many adventures. Wishing you peace and comfort at this difficult time.

Dearest Athabelle, we were saddened to hear of Ray’s passing. We will miss Ray so much. We were so fortunate to move to Lakefield into your neighbourhood and get to know you and Ray. Stella and I visited almost everyday and Stella loved staying with you and Ray, her second home. Sending you hugs and our sincere condolences.

Athabelle & Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Ray's passing. The streets of Lakefield won't be the same without him driving "over town" in his dune buggy. Many times we met up with him for an afternoon Tim's break or a bite to eat at Lakeland/Shakers. Ray was everywhere. A welcoming face at Home Hardware or thursday night dinners at the Honky Tonk...he definitely got around and knew everybody. He was a character that could always bring a smile to your face with his jokes and quick wit. May your many memories give you comfort in the days and weeks ahead. Rest in peace Ray...you will be missed.❤️
Greg, Tammy, Emily & Hannah Frost, Sharon Sullivan and Paul Sheehan.

He was such a character, always making us laugh and we still remember some of the jokes he told. Happy days. News travels far on the internet. My heartfelt condolences to Athabelle and all of the family. Ray was such a character...quick to share a smile, a laugh and a story. I had a nice visit with him at the end of the summer...sitting on his well worn porch. RIP Ray❤️
