Bannan, Irene Margaret (nee Manning)

Passed away at Lakefield Extendicare on February 13 th , 2024. Irene Bannan of Buckhorn, in her 100 th year, was the beloved wife of 78 years to the late John Edgerton Bannan. Loving mother of Susan Chase (Brian d.), John Bannan and Shelley Bertram Fallis (Ross). Fondly remembered by granddaughter Jamie Bertram. Survived by sister Bettina Flood and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Albert, Francis, William, Margaret, Patricia, Gerald, Barry, Jean and parents Albert and Mary Margaret Manning (nee Canavan). A memorial service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL
HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Saturday May 11 th , 2024, at 1:00 PM, with visitation to commence two hours prior. Interment at Emily Cemetery and reception at the Buckhorn Community Centre. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
