Obituary of Jim Clement

CLEMENT: James Maxwell

Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Monday March 25, 2024.  Jim Clement of Peterborough, aged 91 years.  Jim was a Tool & Die Maker with General Electric for over 40 years.  He was inducted into the Peterborough Sports Hall of Fame for Trap & Skeet Shooting and was a long-time member of both the Peterborough and Cobourg Gun Clubs.  Loving husband of the late Joyce (d. 2019).  Survived by his children Randy (Donna), Lee Anne Thorne (Larry), 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Predeceased by his grandson Terry Hurl, brother Alfred and sister Kay.  Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
