Obituary of Keith Douglas Mason

KEITH DOUGLAS MASON

January 10, 1948- May 6, 2024

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Lakefield Extendicare on Monday, May 6, 2024, in his 76^th year after a courageous battle.

Keith leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Deborah. Keith was a loving father to Kevin (Kristie), Andrea (Brett) and Michelle (Curtis).  Cherished “Papa” to Mason, Tyler, Logan, Chase, Lauryn, Welsey, Easton, Emersyn and Harper.  Loving brother to the late Gary Mason and his wife, Marilyn.  Dear brother-in-law to Cindy (John) and Brenda.  Loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Keith was born and raised in East York (Toronto) before moving to Unionville to raise his family.

Keith loved spending his time outdoors at his home on Chandos Lake in Apsley.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to snowmobile.  Keith shared his love of the outdoors with his children and grandchildren. Memories of time spent with Keith on Chandos will be forever cherished by his family.

Keith’s family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff and residents- especially the caring nurse’s and PSW’s at Lakefield Extendicare for their loving care of Keith and for making him a part of their family. 

A private family graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Lakefield.
