WALKER, Maxine M. (Mace)

Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Lakefield on Wednesday June 5^th, 2024. Cherished wife to the late Walter Walker, and mother to Doug Rhude (Janet) of Selwyn, step-children Sandra Hahn (Adolph) of Hagersville, Karen Johnston (Bruce) of Waterloo and is predeceased by her son David Rhude (Virginia). Beloved grandma to Brian, Susan, Wendy, Erin, Jeff, Annette (Albert), River, Forest (Alex) and Lakeland. Maxine will be deeply missed by her many great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents James and Annie, brothers Bert, Reg, Russ, Percy, Bob, Harold, Joe and sisters Mae, Ada and Maxine’s first husband James ‘Jim’ Rhude.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. A visitation will be held on Monday June 10^th from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at The Hendren Funeral Home - Lakefield (66 Queen Street, Lakefield). A second visitation will take place on Tuesday June 11^th at The Lakefield Baptist Church (36 Regent Street, Lakefield) beginning at 12:00 PM followed by a service at 1:00 PM in the chapel.
