BOOTH, Mary Loraine

 

Passed away peacefully at Fairhaven Home, on Saturday July 6 2024.  Loraine Booth née Thompson of Peterborough, formerly of Lakefield, in her 87th year. Loving wife of the late Russell Booth (1994). Dear mother of James Booth (Janet) of Cambridge, David Booth (Jo-Anne) of Kitchener and Karen Booth of Peterborough. Beloved grandmother to John Booth (Allison), Matthew Booth (Sarah), Raven Booth and Destiny Booth. Devoted great-grandmother to Josephine Booth. Survived by her sister Edith Newman and brother James Thompson. Also survived by several dear nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Lucy Thompson and sister Joan Thompson. 

 

Loraine was a member of the United Church and was involved in hosting dinners for Affirm United which she greatly enjoyed. Loraine was also a passionate singer, and her lovely voice would always carry to the rafters.
