Edward George Heayn
Born September 16th, 1946 in Port Perry Ontario, passed peacefully July 21st, 2024.
Edward was a life long transport driver, beginning his career with Sutherland Brothers hauling cattle across North America in 1963 at the age of 17. He drove into his 77th year finishing his driving career with Drain Bros Excavating in Norwood, Ontario.
Ed is loved and missed by his wife Patricia of 27 years. Ed will also be missed by his loving furry feline Misty, his beloved children Tony (Raquel), Darrell (Shannon), Mike (Marilène) and Natalie. Ed was a loving grandfather to Charles, Kassandra, William, Marissa, Cameron, Daphne and Emeric. Survived by siblings Valerie (Tony), Melody (Paul) and Dave (Carol).
A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at the Norwood Community Centre in the Millennium room on Saturday August 24th, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00pm.
