Obituary of Peter Victor Genrick

It is with profound sadness that our family says goodbye to our beloved Peter, who passed away unexpectedly at his home in Peterborough, Ontario, on July 20^th, 2024.

Peter was a devoted father whose love for his family knew no bounds. His children were his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He felt truly blessed to have them in his life.

Peter leaves behind his daughters Isla, Vivian and stepdaughter Harper whom he raised with their mother Nichole. His siblings Savannah, Josh (Hillary), Rebecca (Buddy), Jordan and Ashleigh (Trevor). His parents, Ella and Warren, and Peter Sr. (Janice). His grandparents Veikko and Maire, his aunt Anni (Mike) and cousin Jessi (Stephano). His nephew and little nieces, Brayden, Sienna, Norah, Nevaeh and Silver as well as his dear Mama Cat.

Peter leaves behind so many close family and friends who were all a big part of his story but there are just too many to list.  

His sudden departure has left an empty spot at our family table. He was a fantastic father and a remarkable man who touched our lives in so many ways.

Peter will be deeply missed and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. A private family service will be held in his honor.
