KING: Ronald

Ron King, a much loved husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather passed away peacefully on July 23, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

Devoted husband to Mary Ann, loving father to Kari, Julie (Keith), Tim & Marcus. Proud g-pa to Kaitlyn (Tyler), Isaac (Jessica), Rachael (Hannah) and Jay (Sydney), Asia, Rory, Natalie, Josh, Audrey, and Maggi (deceased). Ron was blessed with five great grandchildren, Carmelena, Ellie, Lincoln, Hayden and Giulia. He has no doubt found much joy being reunited with his beloved granddaughter Maggi, with whom he shared a very special bond.

A respected long time educator, volunteer, chorister, Anglican lay minister, world traveller, and a diligent community member, his contribution to this world made a difference. Recognized for his significant volunteer efforts, Ron was the recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Medal.
