Obituary of Joan Winifred Armstrong

ARMSTRONG, JOAN 

Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on October 7, 2024. Joan Armstrong, née Baxter of Georgetown formerly of Alberta, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Eric Armstrong. Devoted mother of Lynne Armstrong. Joan was born to parents William and Gertrude Baxter and raised in England. When she first arrived in Canada she lived in Alberta, and later moved to Georgetown. She enjoyed a very happy life with her husband Eric. They took advantage of every moment together, including travelling to Florida each winter. Joan was a kind woman who will be dearly missed. 

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES-LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street Lakefield.
