Obituary of Rick Foster
FOSTER: Richard Clayton “Rick”
Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on November 16th, 2024 on a sunny morning, following a beautiful Beaver Moon. Rick Foster of Belmont Township in his 81st year. Rick was a long-time lock operator with the Trent Severn Waterway for over 25 years. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #435. Rick is loved and missed by his wife Dianne. Also missed by his children Todd Foster of Curve Lake, Crystal Cummings (Adrian) of Burleigh Falls, Tracey Fuentes (Jim Taylor) of Curve Lake, Jordan Foster (Angela) of Cumberland Beach and step-children Christina Shepherd (Steven) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Xen Brown (Christine) of Marlbank and Amber Brown (Ted) of Marmora. Remembered by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Ann Knop (Arno) of Brighton, Ruth Nicoletti (D. Roger) of Peterborough and sister-in-law Susan Foster of Peterborough. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Jean and brother Roderick.
Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. A visitation will be held at the Curve Lake Community Church (862 Mississauga Street, Curve Lake) on November 22nd, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with service to follow at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will follow, with reception at the Curve Lake Community Centre.
