Obituary of Brenda Jean Throop

THROOP, Brenda Jean
Passed away at her home on Friday, December 20th, at the age of 67.

Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer Paquette (TJ), her grandchildren, Gavin, Brooke, and Ayden Cudahy, her brother Doug Throop (Heather), her nephew Jason Throop (Jen), Nieces Amanda Morrison (Jim), Dawn Delta (Richard), and her extended family members: Lorna Beck (Ed), Raeola Leroux, Carol Smith (Guy), and Rita Briden (Tom). Perhaps most of all, Brenda will be deeply missed by her loyal and loving feline companion, Tigger.

We take comfort in knowing that Brenda has now found peace with the deeply missed loved ones who have gone before her, especially her son Craig Cudahy (Nycole), her parents Norman and Jean Throop, and her cousin Keith Hilyer.

Brenda’s spirit was impossible to ignore—she loved loudly and without reservation. A proud mother and grandmother, Brenda celebrated every milestone of her children and grandchildren, always ensuring their accomplishments were recognized and cherished. With her big heart and generous nature, she was always ready for fun and adventure. Many who knew her will miss her quick wit, hearty laugh, and beaming smile.

A memorial service will be held at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES – MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon, on Friday, December 27th, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 239, located at 96 King Street East, Bobcaygeon.
