Passed away at Pleasant Meadow Manor in Norwood on Friday December 20, 2024. Zelda Margaret Cooper, née Bolton, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the Late Royden Allan Cooper (September 25, 1989). Dear mother of Arlene (Ed) Leahy, Darrell (Jane) Cooper, Reginald Elmor Cooper (predeceased), David Cooper, Susan (Kevin) Heffernan. Devoted grandmother of Sarah (Allan) Bullock, Kate (Gerard) Winn, Ed (Ashleigh) Leahy, Colin (Lyndsay) Heffernan, and Cameron (Emily) Heffernan. Cherished great-grandmother of Megan Bullock, Olivia and Eva Winn, and Owen, Madelyn and Michael Leahy. Zelda is survived by her brother William (Yvonne predeceased) Bolton and Shirley (Cyril) Bodenham. Predeceased by her parents Reginald and Celestia (Freeburn) Bolton, and siblings Florence (Ivan) Clysdale, Pete (Eileen) Bolton, Eva (Marvin) Kidd. Zelda will be remembered for her love of curling, crafting, and especially her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at HENDREN FUNERAL HOME - LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street Lakefield, on Monday December 23rd, 2024 at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.
