Obituary of John Tyler Morin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, John (Jack) Tyler Morin.

Jack passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the age of 92.

He was the devoted husband of Lucille (née Burman) for 68 wonderful years and the cherished father of Barb (Mike), Bill (Nancy), Jim (Bev), Dan (Deb), and Mike (Laura). Jack was also a proud grandfather to 17 grandchildren, great-grandfather to 32 great-grandchildren, and great- great-grandfather to one.

Jack was predeceased by his loving parents, Ernest and Agnes Morin, his brother Ted (June) and his sister Pat (Jack). Jack will be remembered by his sister Shirley (Bud). 

Dad was a pillar of strength, known for his unwavering family values, which he lovingly instilled in his children. He was actively involved in the community, serving as president of local hockey and bowling leagues on many occasions.

A visitation will be held at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES – MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon on Monday January 6 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Followed by Mass at Our Lady of Peace, 18 Need Street, Bobcaygeon at 12:15pm. Reception will take place back at the funeral home following mass.
