Obituary of Heather Ann Duncan

DUNCAN: Heather Ann (nee Winslow)

Passed away at Toronto General Hospital on Tuesday January 14, 2025 at the age of 76.  Heather enjoyed working in the village of Lakefield where she met many friends and made lasting connections both at Happenstance Book Store and Trinkets and Treasures.  She will be truly missed by her beloved husband of 55 years, Bob Duncan.  Also sadly missed by her son Derek Duncan (Tracey), grandchildren Scotty (Alisha), Mitchell (Nicole), Jeydon, Nicole, Alyssa and Kyle and great grandchildren Zach, Acen, Ben, Peyton and Emerson.  Lovingly remembered by her brother Mark Winslow (Deb), nephew Scott Winslow, cousins Yvonne (Jack), Michael (Judy), Kathy (Murray), Rachel (Kat), Caitlin (Dave) and Malcolm.  Also remembered by her dearest second family Kim, Jason, Jocelyn, Bailey, Spencer and Palmer Stanant, Chrissy Hunter, Scott MacClain as well as the Howe’s family, the Barne’s family and her much loved friends Barb and Lynette.  Cremation has taken place.  Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
