HEFFERNAN, Frances MargaretPassed away at the Bridge Hospice, Warkworth on Sunday June 7, 2015, with family by her side. Frances (nee Holmes) of Norwood in her 89th year. Wife of the late Bernard Heffernan (d.2004). Beloved mother of Brenda Doherty (Pat), Ken (Anne), Larry, Beverley Van Haga (Dave), Terry (Kathy), Barney (Karen), David (Diane), Mike (Wendy Lafontaine), Kevin (Sue) and Laurie-Ann Zenner (Ron). Lovingly remembered by her 24 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Dear sister of George (Betty), Jack (Arlene), Tom (Lola), Helen Ellis (Doug Smith), Bob (Nancy) and Anne Peterson (George). Also fondly remembered by Debbie, Darlene and Maureen Heffernan. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Margaret Holmes, siblings Jean Twigg (Bruce), Carol Montgomery (Ross), Charles, Don, Isabelle Phillips (Don), Lionel (Lois), brother-in-law Ray Ellis and great grandchildren Noah and Rilye. Relatives and friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL on Thursday June 11, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Norwood on Friday June 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Paul’s Cemetery, Norwood. A reception will follow in the Millennium Room of the Asphodel-Norwood Community Centre.
