Dear Carrie, Sherry, Kelly and Brett:
I am sorry to learn of your Moms death, sorry for you and the sense of loss that you will always carry, but know that she was ready for the next journey into the unknown. She just didn't want to leave you. She could not beat the disease and hated the confinement and reliance on others for everything by then. It is hard for the independent spirit. We chatted about that the week before she left this earth. We talked about our families and some of the great times we had had over almost 50 years ... with tears and laughter. Her faith was in a heaven, her hope was that she would somehow share eternity with your Dad, my Merle, and the many she has loved. I hope it is so. In her usual cheery fashion, she quipped that she would know before me, and probably soon.
May wonderful memories, and her, and your Dad's, influence, warm your hearts and sustain you.
