We are saddened by Dennis’ passing, he was a wonderful giving person. He always greeted us with a hello, a smiling face and always came over to talk with us at the music events. Many fun times with Dennis and Beverley will remain in our memory. We remember first meeting Dennis and Bev many, many years ago and spoke to them about joining the Bobcaygeon Legion and at that time there weren’t sure if that was a fit for them. They did eventually join and became major contributors, giving of their time and food expertise to many events. Their contributions were substantial. Dennis & Bev were Legionnaire of the year in 2009. They were regularly present at Friday night Karaoke and the Saturday meat rolls as well as just about every other Bobcaygeon Legion event. After Bev’s passing in 2014, it was evident that Dennis had lost the love of his life and his best friend. We visited Dennis at PRHC many times before he moved to Case Manor. We will fondly remember him.
Our hearts go out to his family – his son Shane, his brother Allan and his sisters Doreen & Carol. May we take solace in the fact that Dennis & Beverley are together once again
