Obituary of Dennis Roger Oliver

OLIVER, Dennis Roger Passed away on Monday November 16, 2015 at Case Manor, Bobcaygeon, one day shy of his 73rd birthday and after a lengthy courageous battle with Cancer. He was the beloved husband of Bev Oliver who passed away August 11, 2014. They were constant companions for 41 years. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Dorothy Oliver. He is survived by his son Shane (Annie), his brother Allan (Doris), sisters Doreen and Carol. Predeceased by his brother Richard. Survived by his beloved pet Macaw Blue who is 30 years old. Dennis was a self employed Plumber for many years. He was also a loyal member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Bobcaygeon. He was legionnaire of the year in 2009. He will be fondly remembered by his legion comrades and his many friends. He was an avid Karaoke enthusiast and did not miss a Friday Night singing at the Legion. He enjoyed the company of his friends, baking for them and lending a helping hand. A Celebration of Dennis’ Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Bobcaygeon on Saturday December 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the R.C.L.
