Obituary of John Russell Davies

DAVIES: John Russell Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C., with his family by his side, on Friday April 15, 2016. John Davies of Lakefield in his 84th year. Beloved husband of 61 years to Mavis (nee Price). Loved by his children Michael Burton-Davies (Jane) of Bobcaygeon, Judith Alison Davies-Stephenson (Craig) of Mississauga and Ruth Joanna Margaret Davies of Lakefield. Grampie will always be remembered by David Davies, Sarah Varashin (David), Campbell Stephenson and Nikola Stephenson (Otto Perl) and by great granddaughter Ismay Varashin. Also remembered by his brother Gerald Davies (Olly) and their family and by his cousin Jeffrey Matthews (Anne) and their family. Cremation has taken place and a private family service is entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the P.R.H.C., Community Care, Lakefield, VON’s and PSW’s for all the care and support.
