I am so sorry to hear of Cherie's death and I send my condolences , love and hugs to each of those who grieve with me in her friends and family. We grew up together back in the 40's and 50's and I visited several times from Michigan. My father, George Vallance and I visited Lakefield on our vacations back in Lakefield from our homes in Michigan and California, as often as we could and got to visit several times with Cherie and oh how we laughed about all of the fun and adventures we had in dear Lakefield. . We reminded Cherie about being Miss Fortune our Queen in High School, she was always the beautiful girl in our "gang". I also miss her Mom , her brother Ron and Wayne also her special Dad. spcial thoughts for all of her family and friends who appreciated what a special lady Cherie was for so many of us, including her friend Mello . from connie Vallance-Farell

To Cherie's family.
I am so sorry for your loss of Cherie. I had met Fawn several times over the past few years when she was out (mostly at Foodland) with her mom, and knew her step brothers as well. Cherie was such a dear lady and we had many, beautiful conversations that were a blessing to both of us. She made many people feel happy and joyful, and they were privileged to know her and share that joy. I have missed seeing her lately and now can only have the memories.... but what lovely memories. God Bless.

So very sorry to hear about Cherie's passing. Even though we had not seen each recently, I will always remember my cousin who was one of my first babysitters. Always pleasant always smiling, I know she loved her family dearly. She will be missed.

Dear Dave, Freda, and Fawn,
We offer you our sympathy in the loss of your dear mom, Cherie. I have many good memories of Cherie. In our sons {Dave and George} growing up years,
your mom and I shared many conversations about how to raise our boys. In recent years, wherever we met---Lakefield Pantry--on the street -we always had a pleasant chat.
As you grieve, visualize your mom enjoying heavenly terrain far more beautiful than even Lakefield Marsh.

My deepest condolences to Cherie's family in her passing. Being a Lakefielder all my life, it is no coincidece that I have known Cherie for most of it. Always a pleasant smile, wherever you met her, and always a kind word. She so loved her family and talked about them a lot. I haven't seen her around for a while, but didn't know that she hadn't been well. Losing a loved one comes with pain, that is a fact, but also a lot of happy, fun memories, that you can hold close for life. Thoughts & prayers are with you all throughout this difficult time.....
