Obituary of Cherie Darling

DARLING, Helen Cherie (nee KINGDON) Cherie Darling, passed away peacefully at PRHC on April 15, 2016 in her 78th year while surrounded by the love of her family. Cherie was born in Peterborough and lived the extent of her life in Lakefield. Her everlasting love remains between Kingdon Lumber and Lakefield Marsh where she spent many years observing wildlife and learning life lessons from her beloved father Melville Orville Kingdon. She will be greatly missed by her children David, Freda (John) and Fawn. Loved and remembered by her grandchildren Michael, Cherie Brooke, Michael, Joseph and Amy. Also remembered by her step-brothers Brydon Hill (late Sandra) and Lance Hill (Bev). Predeceased by her parents Melville Orville and Eva, brother Ron Kingdon and step-brother Wayne Hill (May). Cherie will be remembered for her positive spirit, her remarkable character and her love of all living things. Cherie’s wishes were to be cremated and a family memorial to follow.
