Hello Jack:
No matter how prepared we are, the loss of a dear one is still a heavy blow.
As much as Joan 'crept' away from us, you were a magnificent husband and caregiver for as long as your energy could master. She must have been a tremendous part of your life and a great listener to all the stories and anecdotes you have to tell.
The only blessing about which we should care right now is that Joan is free of the condition that took her away, and you, although lonely at this time, have the comfort of knowing she is at peace.
You are a big man in more ways than mere dimensions, and we hope that as the days ahead unfold, you too will gain peace and contentment, You had Joan when she was her best,and for that you and we who knew her, can be grateful.
