My sincere condolences on your loss. I knew Peter from his impressive contribution at Toronto Zoo from setting up the fish tanks with Elmer Taylor then on through Americas, Indomalaya, Eurasia.etc. He was a delight to work with and was cherished by his coworkers. He had a wonderful sense of humor and his great smile and laugh will be remembered. I worked at Toronto Zoo as a keeper and Supervisor from 1972- 2007 and now live in Sydney Australia. It was a very special experience to be at the beginning of Toronto Zoo with colleagues like Peter coming from all over Europe and North America. I came from Jersey Zoo in the UK. I felt privileged to be one of those able to help him when he was attacked by a Reindeer Stag. Sincerely Duncan Bourne

My sincere condolences to all of Peter's family and friends. I learned a lot from Peter during my years as a keeper, especially about fish and their care. The extended Zoo family will miss him.

I am unable to attend the service on Friday. I worked with Peter for many years at the zoo and have many great memories of that time. His calmness and expertise in difficult situations was always appreciated. Please accept my sympathies at this time. f
