Obituary of Douglas Brian Robinson

With great sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of Doug on Thursday February 8, 2018 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Doug in his 76th year. He loved his family and they were with him right to the end. Loving husband of Maureen for 52 years. Beloved father of Scott (Angie) and Jay (Cathy). Will be missed by his grandchildren Sydney, Lindsay, Jack, Hunter, Will, Molly, and Ava. Doug will also be missed by his brother Bob (Carolyn) and Terry (the late Christine). He was adored by his sisters in law Ruth (the late Terry), Joan (the late Eddie), Grace (the late Ross), Karen (Bruce) and brothers Michael (Ruth), and the late Bobby. Douglas will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, wonderful friends, and Hockey buddies. Hockey was Doug’s passion playing three times a week up until this past year. We would like to thank Dr. Mallory and all the staff at the Peterborough Reginal Health Centre Palliative Care unit. A memorial gathering will take place at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, 6 HELEN STREET, BOBCAYGEON on Saturday February 17, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM with memories of Doug being shared at 1:00 PM. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Kawartha Lakes or P.R.H.C Palliative Care Unit.
