I wish to express my sincere condolence over the death of Mary Vandendort.
Death is one of life most most painful experience , that is why the bible refers to it as an enemy. Personally I have come to realize that the bible is of great comfort in stressful times like this. Revelation 21: 3-4 speaks about no more death and Acts 24: 15 talks about the resurrection of our dead loved ones. Please find time to give those scriptures a read. It will go a long way in comforting the entire family.
Sorry I missed your mother's funeral. Just found out late Monday night. I've had a lot of good times with various members of your family. Your mother was a steady, soft-spoken matriarch in your household, always welcoming. I hope that good memories will help fill the void of her passing. Hopefully we can get together sometime soon and enjoy some of those old memories. Thinking of you all.
Dear family, you are in our hearts and minds. Our condolences on the passing of tante Marijke. We want you to know that we are thinking of you all. May care and love of those around you give comfort and peace. With love Rene and Marcel Scholing
Marcee, my wee Chihuahua, and I were so saddened to see our great friend Mary had passed. Marcee and Mary had a wonderful relationship as they basked in each other's affection. I was always impressed with the way Henry supported Mary through her recent troubles and the family seemed to be always by her side. Their stories of missionary days and their strong faith were wonderful tales for me. Mary had a marvellous trip through life. She lived her faith and she lived life to it's fullest. Congratulations and well done.
We at A.O.S. - " As One That Serves" United Church Lakefield offer our deepest condolences to you Henry for the loss of your dear Wife Mary. We thank you Henry for being our guest speaker at our Wednesday Meeting just hours after her passing. It was an emotional event and speaks volumes of your courage and tenacity to be with us during that most difficult time.
