Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Lakefield on Wednesday March 7, 2018. Mary Vandendort in her 89th year. Forever loved wife of Henry Vandendort. Most adored and loved mother by her children Neil (Stella), Mary, Peter, Hank (Dina) and David (Anne-Marie). Cherished grandmother to Josh (Michelle), Jay (Bliss), Rachel (Jared), Jennifer (Steve), Emily (Andrew), Rebecca, Kadin and Tiana. Great-Grandmother to Chaz, Skylar, Taivan, Nautia, Ember, Georgia and Jane Marijke. Remembered by her sister Cornelia Scholing (Henk) and the late Christina Dubbledam (Marinus). Friends and relatives are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Monday March 12, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Lakefield Baptist Church on Tuesday March 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception to follow in the Church Hall.
