My condolences to the family and friends of Dorothea. All of the kind comments truely show that she will be missed. Having lost both my parents in death I can sympathize with all. When I feel down I turn to the Bible for relief. Roger and Family,
I learned last night of Dollys death, from a friend in Bracebridge. I send my deepest sympathy. Although we have not been in touch for many years I have often thought of you and of officiating at your wedding many years ago. I had totally lost track of you. I live in Campbellford (for the last 14 years). If I had known that you lived in or near Peterborough, I would have tried to contact you at least by phone if I could not visit personally. I am now dealing with cancer and another terminal disease myself so I could not have visited recently.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God uphold, sustain, and comfort you all at this difficult time.

Loved her sense of humour.

I knew Dolly several years ago when she was working in Lakefield and Apsley. Although we did not work together much, she stands out in my mind as a most interesting person. She had a very quick wit and was always a delight to talk to. She was a strong woman, someone I respected very much. She spoke her own mind and always seemed true to herself. She put a high priority on people... staff and clients and it was one of many things that endeared her to so many.
