Gauthier, Dorothea Marguarite “Dolly”

Passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on March 29, 2018. Dolly in her 70th year, was the loving wife of husband Roger of 48 years. Beloved mother of Annette (Paul) Gillan of Gravenhurst and Jennifer Gauthier of Peterborough. Cherished Gamma of Morgan Gillan. Unconditionally loved by her siblings Jannette (Goldie) Harrison of Washago, Jackie (Al) Blanchard of Baysville, Wendy (Brad) Ford of  Guilford, and Shirley (the late Art) Hall of Bracebridge. Sister in law to Helen (the late Ron) Gauthier of Windsor. Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Kindred spirit of Catherine Crowe. Dolly had great appreciation for the healthcare she received. Most sincere thanks to Dr. Jon Archibald and the staff of Brookdale Family Clinic, her in home care givers Pam and Jackie, the P.R.H.C. I.C.U. team especially Terry and Jackie, Dr. Shufelt and all the Palliative Care staff.

Dolly retired from an almost 40 year career in progressive roles with The Royal Bank of Canada. Starting in Gravenhurst with time also spent in Bracebridge, South River, Sundridge, Lakefield, and Apsley branches. She also spent 2 great years on the road travelling from coast to coast with the Service Delivery Team.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday April 29th, 2018 from 1:00-4:00pm at Baker’s Hill Banquet Hall 555 Parkhill Road East, Peterborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C. Foundation.
