Passed away peacefully at his birth home, the Flynn homestead, on Saturday July 21, 2018.  Tom Flynn of Flynn’s Turn in his 84^th year.  Tom was the CEO of Flynn’s General Store since the early 1970’s.  Loving husband of the late Muriel Joan (nee McClean) (d1998).  Dad will be lovingly remembered by Michelle Connell (Wayne) and Margaret Gillingham (Phil), all of Flynn’s Turn.  Dear grandpa of Charlotte, Rachel, Hayley and Patrick.  Also missed by his sisters-in-law Colonia and Mary.  Predeceased by his parents Mildred Calvert and Charles Flynn and brothers Keith (Maretta), Elmer, Robert and Charles.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Thursday July 26, 2018 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.  A Masonic Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 5:30 PM.  The funeral service will be held at Lakefield United Church, Regent Street, Lakefield on Friday July 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM.  Interment Sandy Lake Cemetery, Lakehurst.  A reception will follow at the Lakehurst Hall.  Memorial donations may be made to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation – Home Peritoneal Dialysis, as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
