Obituary of Clare Rockarts

Passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family at Extendicare in Lakefield in her 88th year. Beloved wife of 59 years to Robert, dear mother of Sean (Nancy) of Mississauga, Eric (Melanie) of Cobourg, Stephen (Luanne) of Barrie, and predeceased by her son Andrew of Barrie. Loving grandma of Emily, Chloe, Jasmine, Trevor, Aidan, Aylish, Andrew and Madaylane. Survived by siblings Father Albert of New Jersey, Father Stephen of Australia, Sister Gerard Joseph (Vera) of Australia and sister-in-law Rose. Predeceased by parents Thomas & Mollie Cooney, siblings  Vincent (Maureen) of N.Y.C., Rita Taylor (Jack) of England, Ambrose (Mamie) of N.Y.C., Father Paul Cooney of the Phillipines, Thomas (Lily), Kevin, Trudy Whitehead (Ken), Leo and Stanislaus. Loved and missed by many extended family and friends. Friends and family will be received at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen St. on Saturday October 20, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM. Funeral service to be held at 1:00 PM at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, 4 Reid St., Lakefield. Reception to follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Interment St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Young’s Point.
