Obituary of Steven George Fraser

Passed away at Case Manor at age 62, on June 28, 2019, peacefully with his wife by his side.

Steve lived his life with vigour and joy, love and laughter. Despite being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at a very young age (56), Steve met the challenge with grace and courage, choosing to make the most of each day that followed. The next seven years were challenging, but beautiful. His journey has now ended, and his confusion and pain are over. He is with God.  

Beloved husband of Alida “Lidy” Fraser (nee Budding), loving father of Stefanie (Sean) and Elyse (Sean), and dearly missed by nephew Doug Rublee (Tanya). Survived by sister Linda Rublee. Steve is predeceased by his parents Gordon and Jean Fraser. Cremation has taken place, arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, Bobcaygeon. A Celebration of Steve’s Life will take place on Saturday July 13^, 2019 at Trinity-Providence United Church, 44 William St. Bobcaygeon at 11:30 AM.
