Karen, Michael and the Wiebe Family,
When Laureen joined our family, over 30 years ago, she instantly became our “sister.” There are so many memorable moments...at her dinner table, in the backyard, on a floating raft. I remember her helping me decipher a rhythm strip...she was such a good teacher and so very patient. Laureen never showed up without a home made apple pie or pumpkin pie. Her specialty among a host of other sweets. I remember when she knit “four year old blankets” for our girls.
Laureen and Kevin did us the honour of being Godparents to our son...so long ago.
I could write a book, but best leave that for now. Laureen was the eloquent writer.
This is a very sad day for all of us. Laureen would know how to put things in perspective and carry on. We can learn from her.
Peace to all. Just know that Laureen and Kevin were so loved.
