Tammy was an angel on earth. She was so fierce, kind, strong, intelligent and caring. She was so proud of her family, and always radiated happiness when she talked about Alexis, Kendra, Jake, and Steve. Anyone who knew Tammy knew what love was. She was so genuine in every aspect of the word, from telling you what you wanted to hear and also what you needed to- even when you didn’t want to. Tammy was unlike anybody I have, or will ever meet. To say she was special doesn’t even begin to come close. to say i'm feeling a sense of "shock" is an understatement. Tammy and I were supposed to go for coffee and catch up in each other's lives after our long and strenuous days at Humber College. we had just spoken on Friday, the 9th, about how fast life goes by and if you don't take a minute to breathe; you'll miss it. Tammy didn't get a chance to meet Avery, my one year old daughter who i used to send her photos of, and that breaks my heart the most — she would have loved meeting the person who helped her Dad get through College, whether helping with an assignment or even just being a listening ear, usually about how much i missed home. thank you for being you: the "Mom of the Class," a voice of reason when times got tough, an awesome Wife/Mother to your actual family [and not just us Funeral Service kids!], and most importantly: a friend. i miss you so much already Tammy, we all do, you were — rather, ARE — one of the greats. thank you for continuing to believe in me when i couldn't [or wouldn't] believe in myself.

Tammy was my first friend in Lakefield. We met 17 years ago through the nursery school. She included us and our kids in her family and introduced us to most the great people we know now. So many laughs ... oh my gosh, so many. You touched every heart you met and you will be so dearly missed. Rest easy my friend ❤️
