Barb: My heart goes out to you in this time of deep loss. Pete was truly a one of a kind person who made anyone feel like they were welcome and important.I will never forget our trip together. We are blessed with many first cousins and I have always felt we have all had a strong connection to each other even if we did not see each other often . I will never forget our adventure especially as we approached the duty free. I think we each were thinking do you think she would mind if we hit the free. Thank God one of us spoke up as I sure wanted to stop. Most of all I will remember returning with Pete anxiously pacing and waiting for you. I laughed so hard when I heard that Pete had called my house and asked Jeff " Do you know where your mother is?" Jeff being Jeff said " I don't know. Pete responded with a slightly higher voice " What do you mean you don't know where your is?!!!!!! " Stay strong and when you are up to it I I would love to have a visit

Dear Barb and family:
We both wish to offer you our most sincere condolences for the loss of your Pete. We can only guess your pain and sorrow at this most difficult time.
It is with fondness that we remember Pete towing his grandchildren in the tube behind the boat as he lazily zig zagged down the bay, the smile across his face translated just how much he enjoyed doing that. We will also remember the late afternoon sailings of him, with his jaunty Tilley hat firmly on his head, family and/or friends enjoying the ride on your pontoon boat, the infectious mile and the wave as you passed by.

Dearest Barb, Shelly, Alan & Shawn(and Families)…Our hearts are broken for all of you @ the sudden passing of your loving husband and father Pete. Pete, Barb & Family became our neighbours on Stony Lake 35 years ago, we have grown throughout the chapters of life, together. An awesome, kind, gentle and generous soul, who would help anyone whom he could wholeheartedly. Pete had a huge heart of gold, a smile that would light up Northey’s Bay, and an infectious laughter, one will always remember.
Having a few beers, and telling a few jokes was always Pete’s forte’.
There will be a huge void in Northey’s Bay, without Pete @ the helm of his rig, scooting the shores of the Bay, with his huge grin , that could undoubtedly, light up the entire bay, and let’s not forget his mighty hat collection. Stony Lake, has yet again, lost another iconic member, a real beautiful man. One thing Pete loved, more than life itself was his family, that meant the world to him.
Our condolences to all of you, at this time…May you find peace, comfort and solace, in each other’s arms during this difficult time.
Always remember “memories are golden”…they live in your hearts forever, cannot be stolen, lost, or sold…they are yours to keep!
