Bill, Rose, Kathy and Gary, Such fond memories we have of your Mom, a spouse of one of the Claredon Hunt Club members, and many get togethers. Even with your Mom's diminishing eye sight, she did amazing and was fortunate to have friends and family assist her. It certainly did not diminish her love of life for many years. I offer my deepest condolences to the Stewart family. Winnie was such a kindhearted and generous person who I am grateful to have known. As a young girl, I delivered the newspapers along Parr Traill and Victoria Ave. Nearly every Friday, Winnie would make a point to catch me at the door as I was putting the paper in the mailbox so we could have a little chat. She was always interested in what I had learned at school that week or how my figure skating was going. Each time she would sneak a toonie or a couple of candies into my hand no matter how hard I tried to refuse! I always looked forward to my chats with Winnie and cherish those moments even 15+ years later. Sincerely, Meg Bethune
