(CD, Retired Canadian Navy and Air Force, Ministry of Transportation (Drivers & Vehicles), Long time dedicated member of the Lakefield and District Lions Club)

 

Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C., on Wednesday April 27, 2022.  Loving husband of 33 years to Nancy (Dunford).  Dear father of Richard of Vernon, B.C., step-father of Chris Spicer (Amber) of Peterborough and Andrea Ste. Croix (Brad) of Roseneath.  Grandpa of Vanessa (Jody), Tiffany (Andre), Rachel (Nick), Ashley (Kyle) and Tristan and great grandpa of Brooklyn, Jayde, Bryson, Zaidie and Lorenzo.  Also remembered by his several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his sisters Phyllis, Hazel, Betty, twin Joan, Marjorie and brother Ross.  A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Thursday May 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM.  Visitation will commence at 11:30 AM.  A Missing Lions Service will be held at 11:00 AM.  Interment Lakefield Cemetery.  A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the Lakefield and District Lions Club as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.comor by calling 705-652-3355.
